Description

Omie Wise is a traditional early 20th century folk song, probably made most famous by Doc Watson. Naomi Wise was an actual murder victim in the early 1800s, and the song was written to tell her story. This rendition features the Dan and the Dannettes and the Danster Quartet Minus 1 (Plus 3) playing lyre, Celtic harp, guitar, bass, banjo, and bell.
