Description

She Moved Through the Fair' is a traditional Donegal folk ballad. It is sad— the bride has died and the groom thinks he sees her moving through the fair, assuring him that their wedding day will come soon. It was first published in 1909, but it is not known how long before that it was written. Some speculate it originated in the Middle Ages.
