My silly harp cover of the beloved song “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”, featuring a harp, guitars, and chimpanzees. Cousin Amy requested this one.
The original version, "Mbube” (Lion), was written and recorded by Solomon Linda in 1939. George David Weiss wrote English lyrics. It became a number one hit in 1961 when The Tokens recorded the song.
"Uyimbube" (Wimoweh in the English version) means “you are a lion” in Zulu.
Harp, Guitar, Micro-bass
