If this isn’t a 3 Stooges routine, I don’t know what is… "Larry, Curly, and Mowing" is on my Album, "The Fun Stuff" at https://funnyharp.com/albums.html Here in upstate New York it rains a lot, and over the years the floodplain in my yard has risen, turning it into a soggy swamp. It is usually dry enough at the beginning of the season to mow, but I hadn’t realized how bad it had gotten. I started mowing, and very soon my lawn tractor was hopelessly stuck. So I did what I had done in the past... I went for my car, losing a shoe in the mud, and backed it into what I was accustomed to being the dry part of the yard, closest to the driveway. I tied a stout rope to the tractor, and to the car and proceeded to tow the tractor out of the mud. Except the car was now mired in mud, and I couldn’t get it out. I called AAA. When they arrived they had brought a flat-bed truck that couldn’t navigate the geometry of my driveway vs. the yard. So Triple-A called Triple-A and eventually the right kind of truck arrived. He pulled out my car, and I meekly asked whether he would also rescue the tractor. He very kindly did. This video is set in the actual yard where this true story occurred.
