I wrote this song in high school. This is the first time I've played it with harp. "Amphibian Blues" is on my Album, "The Fun Stuff" It's a twist on the classic love story, 'The Princess and the Frog'. But in my version the frog can't kiss the frog he loves, because it will turn her into a princess. And he's in love with her froggy self. I got the blues over you I got the blues over you They say if I kiss you that you will change To a beautiful princess and you won't be the same I lub the way that you are I lub the way that you are I Lub your big green eyes, I Lub your webbed feet Love the way that you move yourself, you can't be beat I got the blues over you I got the blues over you I want to kiss you, let me tell you this But I lub green and slimy, not a fair princess!
