Description

Written by Peter De Rose, Jo Trent, “Yes She Do, No She Don’t” (aka “I’m Satisfied With My Gal”) in 1927, It was first recorded in March of that year by the California Ramblers.  The song saw a resurgence in 1963 when Jim Kweskin and The Jug Band recorded it, which is when I first heard it.  It’s just a fun call-out and response song.  Yeah, I wasn’t around when it was written in 1927, though my mother was born later that year!
