Henry Purcell wrote the music to John Dryden's opera “King Arthur “ in 1691. In the opera it is sung by one of the characters, Comus (the greek god of festivity, revels, and nocturnal dalliances) and three peasants. In this video the Dans sing the song-tune. The scene is taken from a photo of Sundowns Farm in the Village of Lansing, New York.
