The great Cab Calloway and his Orchestra recorded “Minnie the Moocher” in 1931. The next year he recorded it for a Betty Boop cartoon. He even played it in the Blues Brothers movie in 1980. I’ve loved this song for many years, but only recently thought it could lend itself to Celtic Harp. It does!
By the way a hoochie-coocher is a kind of belly dancer.
